Jamie is a middle and high school mathematics teacher at Shining Mountain Waldorf School in Boulder, Colorado where he has taught since 1994. He grew up in New England, began his teaching career at a college prep boarding school in New Hampshire, and has also taught at a university in Nepal, and at a Waldorf school in Holland. Currently, Jamie is on the faculty of the Waldorf High School Teacher Education Program in Wilton, New Hampshire, where he is head of the high school math program each July. Jamie consults at schools around the country, and is the lead author of Making Math Meaningful math books, which includes workbooks, math curriculum guides, and other resources for grades 1-12.
